We produce and create thermocouples with mineral insulation. The outer metal sheath of mineral insulated thermocouples shields the thermocouple components from contamination and damage. Because this sheath is flexible, mineral insulated thermocouples can be easily bent and moulded into a variety of shapes to fit your application. Magnesium oxide powder is used to insulate the inner thermocouple elements, and it is packed securely so that no air can get trapped inside. This results in excellent thermal conductivity.

We produce and design base metal thermocouple assemblies. Depending on the thermocouple type, base metal thermocouples may measure temperatures between -270 and +1300°C because they are built from conductors containing nickel alloys. They have a robust design that is suitable for demanding industrial use.
The process it is measuring will need to be protected from contaminating the base metal thermocouple connection. The best protective sheath for each thermocouple should be used for that application.
